Won't start. Glow Plug Light does not go out. It is about 10 degrees outside.Battery is new. Just tuned up. It is a 1990 with 430 hours on it. Any ideas?
Thanks,
J

Sounds like the glow plugs are not functioning. Check to confirm the glow plugs are good by either removing and physically eye balling them with power applied. I am not certain if you can check this particular system with a voltmeter for resistance or not. I would check the system for a problem with the switch or faulty relay. DO NOT under ANY circumstances use ether to start the engine. If you must use a start aid such as ether; use WD-40 instead. ....

You could have a problem with the relay but you didn't say if it is turning over. ....
